Explore not one—but TWO thriving tropical food forests.
Taste, learn, and see what’s possible.
Join us for a 2 hour guided walking tour of our 4-year-old high-density food forest and edible garden in Tampa. As a bonus, we’ll also visit a second food forest at our nursery (located at our parents’ property), where the tour will conclude.
See firsthand how we’ve transformed small suburban yards into thriving edible landscapes filled with fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, and pollinator plants. Along the way, we’ll share practical tips for designing, planting, and maintaining an edible garden that thrives in Florida’s climate.
You’ll learn:
🎯 How to grow more food in less space using layering and companion planting
🎯 Which fruit trees perform best in our area
🎯 Practical design ideas you can apply to your own yard
🎯 Strategies for year-round harvests in a small space

This is a hands-on, conversational tour — bring your questions. You’ll leave with inspiration, real-world examples, and a clearer picture of what’s possible in your own garden.
🌱 The tour ends at our nursery, where you’ll have the opportunity to purchase plants you saw along the way. Guests receive 10% off anything purchased during the visit.
💲 $25 per person (2 hour guided tour + tastings when available)
Reviews
We toured this incredible food forest and were just blown away! KC was such a knowledgeable host and it was amazing to see all her hard work come to fruition. We got to see so many plants and trees that we had only previously heard of. She generously allowed us to sample the trees that had fruit on them so we could know if it’s something we’d like to plant. What an inspiring experience! If you’re interested in growing food or gardening, I highly recommend this tour! The nursery as well was amazing and we could buy some of the same plants we just saw. KC was also so generous and will propagate us the plants she has so we can buy the ones that weren’t available that day.

Enjoyed my Food Forest tour so much! Tasty plants, being able to see what they look like when mature and the perfume of their much loved garden. KC shared her rich wealth of experience with Florida edibles and pollinators. I loved the healthy plants available at their nursery with varieties you won’t find at the big box marts. Thanks KC and family for the gleaming example and inspiration.

It was an enjoyable wander through the food forest with KC giving excellent info about each plant and tree! Samples of mulberries, loquat, pomegranate, edible leaves and flowers were tasty. She answered many questions about her food forest and my problem plant questions. Nursery plants are healthy and well established! Lunch at nearby Cuban restaurant recommended by KC completed a well spent morning!
