Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is a tropical vine that can grow up to 100 feet long, traditionally used in South American shamanic rituals as part of a psychoactive brew. It thrives in humid, rainforest-like conditions with well-drained soil and partial shade, making it suitable for integration into food forests where it can climb and provide habitat for various species. Although not typically considered edible in a conventional sense, its cultivation in food forests supports biodiversity and cultural practices, and it requires regular pruning and support structures to manage its extensive growth.
